AN EASY WAY OF LEARNING MUSCLES

When I tried to study muscles for the 1st year anatomy exam, I got very frustrated: No book ever presented all the useful information at a glance, so that instead of understanding/memorising, I spent most of my time jumping between different resources, wasting a lot of time. I therefore prepared my own notes combining the essential information in table format with a simple drawing, uploaded here. The references used were “Grey’s Anatomy”, “Taschenatlas der Anatomie”, Wikipedia and the Cambridge 1st year anatomy handout.

The following documents cover the muscles of the upper limb, shoulder, lower limb and hip. Head, neck, back and abdomen will follow. Watch out for any errors as it has not been proof-read to perfection. Please leave a comment if you find this useful or have any suggestions!
